Sketch-a-Day: Tiger In a Vest [artwork]

It's a tiger in a vest and a floofy shirt, for no more compelling reason than that tigers, vests, and floofy shirts are all awesome.



He doesn't seem real happy about having his portrait sketched. Or maybe he's just wondering where his hands got off to. Not a bad job for 15 minutes of sketching, although that left arm is rotated a bit far forward.

I like it. He looks, as mapdark said, classy. One thing seems to be getting me, though: The fluffy sleeves look a bit like muscles, actually. At least his right arm's sleeve. How frilly were you going for with the sleeves? Maybe a few more wrinkles would accentuate big, fluffy sleeves?

Well, I was trying to suggest fairly muscular arms underneath the frilly sleeves, so that works. :) If I was coloring it, I'd probably add more gathers via shading to emphasize the floofiness.
