Same here in Texas. I drove up to Dallas this past weekend, and I kept seeing electronic signs saying:
STATEWIDE
FIRE
DANGER
BURN BANS
IN
EFFECT
And about halfway to Dallas, I saw a field on fire! (The fire was out the next day when I drove by again, but it left a huge charred area.)
