Bad news: Christians pray to a golden bull for prosperity. Good grief, people, Heston's only been dead six months, did you forget already? *ker-SMITE!*
Worse news: David Tennant officially stepping down as the Doctor. Feh, you're all wimps! Tom Baker did it for seven years!

Date: 2008-10-30 01:42 pm (UTC)As for a replacement, in the UK some favourite names are knocking about on who people would LIKE to play him, not neccessarily who will.
Bill Bailey
Alan Davies
Bill Nighy
Stephen K Amos
Russell Brand
Justin Lee Collins
Jimmy Carr
Look them up :)

Date: 2008-10-30 02:24 pm (UTC)It's not too surprising that Tennant decided to go leave after four (or is it just three-plus?) years. It will be interesting to see his successor and how he is written.

CBC is playing Doctor Who on Fraiday evenings, but we dont get the Christmas specials. Last episode was Doctors Daughter, so we're 6 months behind BBC. If you go to the CBC website www.cbc.ca/doctorwho you can actually watch the episodes after they air. Tomorrows episode "The Unicorn and the Wasp" is about Agatha Christie, and the time she went missing for 10 days.
